1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. Mobile applications use equivalent technologies (local storage, device identifiers). On this page, the term “cookie” refers to all of these trackers.
2. Our commitment
VerifAge uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation and security.
VerifAge uses:
- no advertising cookies;
- no audience-measurement tools;
- no social-network cookies;
- no trackers that make it possible to follow your browsing on other websites.
3. Cookies used on the website and the platform

- Duration: session.
Language preference cookie

4. Trackers used in the mobile application
Secure session storage

- Duration: until you log out or delete the application.
Notification identifier (Google Firebase, Apple)
- Purpose: to send you the notifications relating to your account (code, validation, security).
- Duration: for as long as the application is installed and notifications are allowed. You can disable notifications in your telephone’s settings.
Crash reports (Google Firebase)
- Purpose: to detect and correct technical errors in the application.

No data from these trackers is used for advertising or profiling purposes.
5. Why is no consent requested?
In accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés) and the recommendations of the CNIL (Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés), cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of a service expressly requested by the user are exempt from consent. As VerifAge uses only such cookies, no prior consent is required. A banner informs you of this on your first visit.
6. Third-party services and content
The fonts and resources of the website are hosted on our own servers: no data is transmitted to a third party when they are loaded.
Links to the App Store, Google Play or France Identité take you to third-party websites, which apply their own cookie policies.
7. How to manage cookies?
You may at any time delete or block cookies from your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data;
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data;
- Safari: Settings > Safari > Privacy;
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions.
In the application, you can manage notifications from your telephone’s settings, and delete all local data by uninstalling the application.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent access to your account area or the proper operation of VerifAge.
8. Changes
Should VerifAge come to use cookies that are not strictly necessary (for example for audience measurement), your consent would be obtained beforehand, and this page would be updated.
